 There are several skincare products and procedures that must be avoided on the forehead and eyebrow area AFTER the brows have been tattooed;

*Retinoids

*Self Tanner

*AHA's and/or lactic acids

*Glycolic acids

*Vitamin C serums

*Hydroquinone

*Anti-aging products

*Chemical peels

*Exfoliating products.

*SPF: daily SPF on/around brows (once healed) this is one of the biggest factors in long-term fading.

*Benzoyl Peroxide (acne products) can bleach and fade pigment quickly

*Enzyme Exfoliants/Masks

*Salicylic Acid (acne pads, toners)

*Microneedling on or near brows, Laser treatments, Strong facials/resurfacing treatments (All can break down pigment over time)

*Excessive sweating (especially during first 7-10 days (affects pigment retention early on)

*Saunas/steam rooms

The SUN is the worst enemy when it comes to all forms of eyebrow tattoos, (microblading, powder, nano, shading.) It will most certainly cause the brows to turn ashy, grey, and will contribute to premature fading. To prevent this from occurring, it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you protect your tattooed brows with SPF sunscreen and/or hat when you are outside.
